Thx for the heads up on cooled seats and sunroof guys. Also found that it does have LED's on radio cluster.

Yep, I'll be looking for these goodies on my ride come next summer.

starting at 1:47 in the video you can see the heated steering wheel button and then they show the 24 color choices for the light strip

Much improved design all throughout.
I see a lot of functional carryover from the C7, and that's a very good thing!

I'm impressed.... just saying. I didn't think we'd see the cool seats or heated steering wheel in the Camaro, but they fooled me! That's awesome.

They literally hit every option in the segment and then added a few that , I think, no one has done.

Heated seats and steering wheel is nice as if I'm dropping 40k on a car, no way am I only driving it 8 months of the year. Love the snow/ice mode too.

Is the HUD standard? This car will make for a sweet daily driver

Probably "available" like every other option you'd want on the car!

Ugh, the lights.

I can appreciate the ability to make your ambient lighting match your interior color, but the rainbow light show is pretty juvenile.

That said, I like the overall feel. Like gen 5's original interior, it's very current while retaining a retro feel.

A heated steering wheel huh? Good thing. My delicate hands just can't do without. I moisturize.

You can just set it to whatever color you want and leave it.

All I can say is... THANK YOU CHEVY!

When I went to purchase my Gen5 Camaro, I had four major concerns that had been holding me back:

1. Rear visibility
2. The lack of electronics in the "retro" interior. Especially the lack of things like bluetooth and Onstar remote-start.
3. Usefullness of the back seats
4. The visibility of the instrument cluster

#2 was taken care of when Chevy (finally!) offered MyLink as an option. This also resulted in an improvement to the backup camera, taking care of #1. #3 was taken care of in the refresh when the length apparently got a smidgen longer to help get those kids back there.

#4 remains a major issue. The instrument panel is nearly useless in its current configuration. If it weren't for the HUD, it would be undrivable!

Thank God Chevy paid attention and fixed it in the new interior. Not only is the instrument panel highly visible, it's merged into a single LCD like I was hoping for!

Looks like the same color HUD that is currently offered. Albeit with different graphics.

Considering that the current HUD is - to the best of my knowledge - the top of the line HUD that Chevy offers, it's really not a problem if it hasn't been upgraded.

Does anyone else have the current light strip? Mine had it on the lot, so I happen to have it in my car. It's rather cool looking at night, but not really something I would have paid for if it wasn't already there.

I'm not really sure about the new layout of the strip, either. The current strip runs along the door from the bottom-back of the door in a smooth arc to the top-front. This one is weirdly kinked around the door-area. Seems a bit.. tacky?

I dunno. Maybe it will look better in person.

What can I say? I'm incredibly impressed. Thank Jebus the retro is finally fading. I hated the look despite the 5th gen pulling it off fairly well, I never pulled a trigger on one and stepped back into a like new GTO a little over a year ago. The interior on the 5th Gen left alot to be desired in the aesthetic department, especially comparing it to the GTO. That is my opinion. I'm pumped to get behind the wheel of these cars when they hit the lots. If it feels as good and comfy as sitting in my GTO I'l have a new daily and back the Goat into storage.

Hate to break it to you, but the 2014 refresh didn't change that one bit. Its length is slightly different only because of the front and rear bumpers.
Furthermore, reports say that back seat room has actually DECREASED in the 6th gen. Unless you have kids that are small enough to fit back there but big enough to get there on their own (and they will soon outgrow), you might want to consider the back seats to be a funny-shaped storage shelf. :/
I'm only 5'8", but even in the 5th gen I could not sit upright in the back seats.
