For the record, who are the ones doing all these fantastic times in the Mustang? When the SS came out there were average unknown people going to the track running spectacular times. And then even MT and the other mags got into the low 12s. The GT comes out and the only people who can manage to get these fast times are noteworthy people/tuners/racers. And even then it was in some pretty awesome weather conditions. Not impressed. I get it, you Mustang guys are impressed. But that is because you're looking at this performance in comparison to the 15-17 GTs. But in comparison to the 6th Gen Camaro it isn't impressive at all man. |

More secrets lol this is getting sad
Front seat were not in the car according to response from steeda themselves on new YouTube vid Passenger seat, rear seat, floor mats, washer fluid, hacked off exhaust. I’m guessing also a race front seat. Probably removed bumper supports. Ripped airbags out. They hide everything lol. If not already that is what they will do next to run 10.6. Must be nice to have the resources to destroy a new 50k car so you can brag on the internet |

The were saying on Facebook that it run 10,7's with seat in with just muffler replace with bullet resonator and now the are saying they removed the seats lol. I am 100% with you on this one! I have no problem if they removed whatever they want as long as they are being honest up front with it. You have rear seat delete no problem as long as it's in your mods list like it show in your signature. I disclosed all my mods but I guess it's easier I don't sell parts for a living lol. Again It's like the c85. First they answer me saying they run e85 pump after I read elsewhere it saying it was in fact c85. Maybe they're too many people there answering without really knowing what is going on?? Anyway not a excuse they look goofy now!! They are selling great parts and it's a good company but I would expect more transparency!! By the way it's a base gt so around 40k but still you're right lol. I don't think they removed any thing else but who knows now In 2 months I should have more real honest results lol. We getting another 5' of snow this week Ps: my friend weight 100lbs less then me at 245-250 so I will probably have to remove the back seat and passenger seat to get closer to his race weight but I let you know of what I will have removed

It’s steedas newest video on YouTube of the 10.7 run. In the comments. Steeda replies when someone asks about weight reduction. He also claims 3750 raceweight. About 50 lbs over mine
I’m sure these times can be replicated but it won’t be as easy as some think. Damn you’re 350? I thought I was at a disadvantage weighing 250. II’ve thought about my 140 lb woman to drive it for another tenth but I’m uneasy lol. She gets awfully squirrelly on the 1-2 sometimes Btw 40k is 10k more than I paid. I got a leftover 16 end of 2016 for nearly 25% off |

Certain aspects of automotive programming/tuning/design are complicated and take time, trial and error to make progress and get as close as possible to fully exploited. Look at what happened with the 5.7 Hemi in the Challenger/Charger. The VVT structure along with the computer made creating custom cams for them, and tuning them, quite difficult. They debuted in 2009, yet it wasn't until 2013/2014 that VVT cams and tuning really became widespread and effective. The same thing with the LT1 Camaro in the 6th Gen..it wasn't until over a year after they came out that effective and gainful tuning was available for them, along with parts, etc. Now do I think it'll be some magic, bullcrap 60HP gain from tuning? No, but I do think it's entirely reasonable to expect that over the next 18 months as more shops and companies become familiar with the PI/DI 5.0 that their tunes and performance will improve dramatically. |
