I had a black 1991 Z28. Wish I hadn't let that car go, those are SO hard to find anymore in good shape.

Damn, now you guys have me thinking about my 1988 Formula Firebird. First car I ever drove in an autocross event.

Memories.....

It also whines almost as loud as a hellkitty now!
What did you gain from round 2?

With a DSX low side you can get in the 820-830RWHP range. After that you will need high side pump and injectors.
what camshaft you recommend? i dont have it yet but my 2021 is being built. plans to do 2"LT's with midpipe, big gulp ROTO, ported stock SC, still dont know what TB to use, ported heads (maybe aftermarket if its that big of a jump between stock ported heads), and pulley setup. which i still dont know which sizes to get. it will be tuned on 93 pump gas, and i will have DSX aux low side. maybe down the road ill upgrade the high side.

mainly looking for a good cam with a nice size fuel lobe, the car will be a 10 speed.

Yes, and I'll express it this way: two of the best known porting shops, jokerz and Kong, have more work than they can do. And of course other shops notably KaTech also have porting packages.

Mine is literally in route back from porting today. I believe my Phase II build works. If not, "maggie, I think I've got something to say to you..."

I love the way my car runs and sounds, but Hennessey won't tell me my cam or valve train's specs. But there's a ton of hot cams for the LT4 and there's a bunch of people out there in parts houses and performance shops that can discuss this with you. I would first call Lingenfelter and KaTech to discuss your build.

If you're porting the supercharger, go with the Nick Williams 103mm TB and make sure the supercharger is port matched to 103mm.

I'm assuming going to a 103mm TB will require a tune?

Ported blower

CSP did Kong ported blower and tune. That got me to 625whp with a base tune of 604whp. They did 2” looks and no cats got 631whp. Seems hard to believe you’ll get 30 hp just on porting.

Had CSP install 755 package, details in sig. can definitely feel the extra 100 hp. Heat soaked run 620/660. Glad I kept stock exhaust with the headers and off road pipes, able to keep it quiet or go loud. Next is flex fuel to run some E.
