Tires for 18x8 front runners
I’m a bit confused on front tires to run on my 21 ZL1
I’m running forgestar D5 17x10 with 305/45/17 et street R’s out back Fronts are forgestar D5 18x8. Can’t quite figure out the correct tire size to run on the front. Ideally I’d like them to be as narrow as possible. I bought these from my buddy thinking they were 18x6. He’ll take them back, but I kinda like the idea of the 8 wide, as it’s a lot more streetable. The 18x6 is easy to find a 28 inch tire - I’d know, because I just went to mount the 18x6x28 sportsman’s I ordered for them, and realized the wheels were 8 wide lol Thanks |

The stock tire for the base models is 245/50/18, which is 27.7" tall and would go fine on your 8" wheels. For a little narrower with 27.8" diameter, you could go with 225/55/18. There are tons of choices in that size, too. Any narrower isn't really spec'd for an 8" wheel, so those are your main choices.
