Definitely frustrated with the brakes on this car, even changed pads to see if it would help but it seems more like a vacuum issue between the gas pedal and brakes. The pads seemed to help isolate the issue. Still struggling to hit my marks on turnarounds and getting closer to the apex cones in general on the course. Course on Saturday was a little tight but it taught me more things on executing more efficiently... Sunday was just a blast with the throttle. Been faster or as fast as STX at Crows Landing four events in a row now... was surprised to see this on Saturday given the course. Enjoy!

Nice work Jeff! I ran 1st group Saturday, was pretty slippery.
I missed Sunday, looked like fun!
Looks like Peters was flying in his 1LE, is he still on Goodyears?

We ran in the 1st group Sunday and it was slippery as well. ~46 degrees when we arrived to the site.

Peters switched to 20" Bridgestone RE71R.

Holy crap! Did Peters raw time Fraser on Saturday? Is there something not AS legal on Peters car that causes him to run CAMC?

The old GM "ice mode"
I struggled with this also. I ended up having to go back to right foot braking. This car does not like instant brake pressure from gas to brake. It really needs a short moment from gas to brake pressure.

I think it's stock w/ RE71r's. Looks like SS 1LE can get it done in AS.

I think because of the whole BS movement thread, he has boycotted running in AS... As we all can see, it is a competitive BS car.

His car is still completely stock aside from an alignment/tires.

That is really interesting to hear because I've only right foot braked and still struggle with this big time.

From what I've experienced, only two things really work. Light touch on initial braking and / or avoiding initial application if there is the least bit of yaw. Doing either one requires more concentration than I have but Otis/Scroggs don't have an issue.

Can anyone summarize the results that Peters' got? Inquiring minds want to know. Anyone know if he is planning to campaign the car in AS nationally?

I'm still on target to run a test on my 1LE vs an AS C5Z on the concrete in Ft Myers the weekend of Nov 4-5.

Thanks
Greg

Absolutely, but I also think the course was more challenging than normal for a Crows Landing course, hence my shock in time deltas between STX and I. Sundays course was more of the norm for a Crows Landing course which probably favored the GT3.
