Another tire diameter thread...

Just recently bought oem 1le rims and they came with 305/35r20 mickey thompson tires. Well I moved my old rears (275/35r20) to the fronts. Its throwing traction control and stabilitrak off and its saying im 2.9% difference in diameter. If I was to buy 305/30r20 for the rears it would drop the difference to -1.4% can anyone tell me if this is enough to make traction control happy?

Should I seek maybe a programmer to change the parameters of allowance? Not sure if you can do that

EDIT : after speaking to 2 tuners and being told it wasn't fixable. I went ahead and purchased 315/30r20 because it was -.7 difference and stock tires are -.4.
Thanks for the help!

i presume the tolerance for tire height varies from car to car.

my personal experience:

275/40/17 rear
285/30/20 front

1" difference in height. the car was totally ok with it for 100? miles. then out of the blue, while going down the road, it decides to give me the flashing stabilitrak light and proceeds to kill my forward momentum. then idk maybe 5 seconds later everything is fine again.

i'm putting the stock rears (1LE) back on and waiting for my front wheels (racestar) to get here before i end up getting hit bc someone isn't paying attention while the car decides what it wants to do.

I'm running the same setup, 275/35 fronts and 315/30 rears, the difference in rake is marginal and everything works like a charm. If I find better daily tires than the PS4S, next time I'll try 285/35 + 325/30.
