I do not trust the dealership and the dill weeds they hire there. After working for one for five years then moving onto a Cat dealer.. I'm not sure how peoples cars even last on the road haha.
I am lucky to have a really good dealership in our area. I have been taking my cars to them for the last 15 years. They are Wallace Chevrolet in Stuart, Florida. I have a dealership 10mins away but will not go to them. Wallace is 45 minutes away but worth the drive. I have a great service tech that takes special care of my cars. She goes in tomorrow morning and hopefully it will be a simple fix.

You certainly are lucky man! There are a few out there with one or two good techs, when you find them it's like gold haha. especially from a warranty standpoint. I hope they get yours squared up. Keep us in the loop on what they find.

Just returned from the dealer. They could not find the issue. I took a test drive with the service manager and it would not backfire or miss. I am thinking that because I drive a short distance and the car doesn't warm up most days from home to the gym which is about 1.5 miles that carbon may be building up and I need to drive it hard once in awhile. The past couple days of hard driving has cleared the issue for now. IDK. I still have over a year left on new car warranty and have extended GMEPP warranty so I am protected.

Let your car warm up.

These cars have a lumpy cam, so they need to be warmed up because of the overlap.

That was my guess as well but they could not duplicate the problem. Several wot blasts buy me prior to service eliminated the issue. I am thinking driving short distance most days may have caused the issue. IDK but for now all is ok.
