Indeed, I do live in a bar area, etc.

Dealer is working now, looks like 2 body panels need to be fully repainted with clearcoat, etc.

My rental car, despite me choosing the cheapest option, is ironically a 1LT Camaro v6. Definitely can tell the V6 to V8 difference, but not a bad car. The A10 is real slick.

I got her out of the storage, finally!

So refreshing to be driving an NA V8+manual trans again.

And I also installed the phone net that a few people recommended. Replaced the crappy tapes with strong velcro tapes and yep, it sticks right below the kneepad and keeps my phone out of the way during the drive.

I really like that gray interior.

Body shop/dealer called - mirrors are on backorder, they cannot give me a date for when I'll get my car back.

DC is by far the worst place I've ever lived.

That was a fun afternoon project.

Will take it to the dealer tomorrow for the tune.

And so many dead dragonflies in my stock airbox. Kinda gross.

Is that the GM CAI @UnknownJinx ? How was the install? I have it waiting as soon as my car is back from the body shop.

GMP CAI takes about 45-60 minutes to install with simple hand tools... Its easy if you have any mechanical ability whatsoever...

The fact that I didn't cuss very much says that it's not too bad of an install. It took me 2 hours but I wasn't rushing. If you are focused then yeah an hour should be good. And yep, most tools you need are pretty basic stuff.

The only thing was that the instructions seem to be written by someone who never actually installed it before. The instructions tell you to install the MAF tube, filter and housing outside the car but that makes it almost impossible to fit the MAF tube onto the rubber elbow. I ended up undo those components and made sure that I connected the elbow with the MAF tube out of the car.

Lethal Garage's video is worth watching if you want to have an idea.
