I put a set of $58.99 jackpads off Amazon under my car and I've used them a few times now but my observation would be that they could be an 1/8th or 1/4" longer as they sit pretty flush with the ZL1 side skirts. Otherwise these work well.

those are the exact ones I bought as well. Had them on the car since the day i brought it home. I have used them already to pull the wheels to ceramic coat my wheels off car but still get weird feeling when i get the car higher and higher on them

last time I tried to jack a Mustang or Camaro from the front my lo-pro race jack barely fits under it and then didn't have enough handle travel to pump it up so I stopped even trying and I just go off the sides.

Thanks ramair02. I have 4 alloy jack pads installed. But I use them for the jack and have no where for the stand. I guess next time I will drive the back tires up a ramp and jack up front center point and use front side points for a stand. Glad I didn't use the rear cross member or the pumpkin for raising.

I always use a cheap hockey puck when I'm using a jack. The extra inch gives plenty of clearance so the jack doesn't contact the side skirt.

EDIT: Looking through my photos to find a visual of the jack + hockey puck + lift pad. Found one that I'm (ashamedly) sharing below -- I'm embarrassed since the lift pad is poorly positioned over the jack & puck Do better than I did here!

One thing to note -- and this doesn't affect your car, Gen6cyl, but posting for visibility for folks with ZL1s or Convertibles (or SS?)...

The above graphic I posted is for "Base" coupes as described in the Service Manual. The ZL1 & Convertible do not cite the front cradle as a suitable jack point. You can see the ZL1 & Convertible graphics below. Oddly, the manual doesn't have a specific document for lifting SS Coupes. My best guess would be SS models also cannot be lifted from the front engine cradle.

Yeah, essentially don't jack from the engine cradle if your car has that aluminum bracing. Still odd that they have Base, ZL1 & Convertible lifting & jacking docs in the service manual, but not SS
