Car ramps for us Canadians,,Found the Answer!!!

I purchased a 2021 LT1 new last year from Jim Wilson Chevrolet and my first oil change was due this spring... Not wanting to take my car to the dealer, I wanted to do it myself. I have read countless threads about Race Ramps ...Harbour Freight in the US etc etc etc....

I documented my oil change, reset the oil life monitor and entered it in the "My Chevrolet" app to show my maintenance log.

Canadian Tire has the PERFECT set of low profile ramps that allowed me to drive up without touching anything!

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/m...-0091540p.html

They are super wide too and also work well on my 4th gen SS

Not sure if these would be any good for a SS/ZL1, but for the LT1 and below crowd, drive right up on them with confidence. Oil change was a breeze.

No Front splitter on mine....I still had about 1 1/2 inches of clearance going up those ramps before I would hit anything.

02blackss Can you tell me where or how to get to the area to add your maintenance on the My Chevy App? I didn’t find it , but I like your idea. Thanks

AFTER LOOKING AT YOUR LOCATION YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO HERE AND SET UP AN ACCOUNT
Sorry didn't see you were from the USA

https://my.gm.com › service

https://experience.gm.com/owners

Here is the link for Canadians

https://my.gm.ca › gm › login

or try this one https://my.gm.ca/chevrolet/en/myvehicle

If it doesn't work google GM SERVICE LOG
https://www.google.ca/search?q=gm+se...g&ie=UTF-8&oe=

you have to setup an account you do it yourself plus put in your info and the cars
you sign in and go to service history and ADD a service record
your name if you do it yourself and info on what was done and price you paid for parts also the mileage
good to put an invoice number if from a dealer or casher receipt of where you bought the parts too
below is what it looks like with records and when you open a record up it looks like the last one I took out my address info
hope this helps

I bought the same ramps they work great
I have a 2020 2SS with a front splitter and still lots of room driving up and down .... the ramps grip good and don't slide

another +1 on these ramps. bought this past weekend and no issues with front splitter... up and down with zero scrapes or rubs. AND they were on sale.

I use Race Ramps. Not cheap but they are among the best.

I am very glad I came across this. I also did my first oil change on my Camaro after I bought it and ended up having to drive it on blocks... It worked but it wasn't the best. Biggest problem is the ramps needing to be long enough so the front doesn't bump. Thank you for sharing!
