I replaced my windshield with one from GM at about 15K miles and 2 track days. IMO, the stock glass damages far too easily. My current one is showing lots of small pits and I'm at 28K. I'm thinking about asking the local glass guys if there's an alternative brand that might be more durable.

The OEM windshields have an inner film that supposedly is needed for the heads up display to show clearly. Do you have HUD? I doubt the Safelite windshields provide that.

I would imagine all ZL1s have HUD so Safelite should have known that…but I guess you can’t assume anything these days…?
