Velossa Tech Scoop on an LT1

Has anyone with an LT1 model tried to fit the Velossa Tech Scoop?

I have one coming and will try first the radiator cover method rather than taking the bumper cover off. Although then I could look for a way to mount a tow hook. No Ram Air but hopefully lower IATs. They did give me a $30 discount to try an LT1 fitment, but it will not affect my review. I have no way to measure that, but wait maybe I do. I have a newer HPTuners brick. I guess I can record runs even though I do not have the tune open. But then I can't use my shift light.

I am also adding an LT2 IM to continue my M6 11 second quest with the seats in and no tune.

going in through the radiator cover is much easier than removing the bumper cover. the hardest part is trying the get the radiator cover to slide out and back in without scratching anything. Just take your time and be careful.

It doesn’t fit like it should which you will see when you go to install .

You have my attention. Any advice?

My LT1 is crushing my 2016 M6 SS times but with a little help...... 119 mph?

You also have a fast Dodge. Jealous.

youd pick up an easy 1+ mph by putting 26" tires on that thing. those 28s are killing you.

lt2 intake manifold needs a tune. Especially if you are running high rpms. do the research they lean out up top using a stock tune.

I saw! I went with the radiator cover mehod. What a PIA. But better than taking the bumper cover off. I just jammed mine in there, But I did not see anything to bolt it on to and saw 2 pieces of plastic to take off. The crossbar there sort of holds it in. I had to unbolt the latch mechanism. Now I wish I would have taken off the Rotofab to see the path there. It is also facing slightly down.

Mine fit fine. I took off the radiator cover and hood latch and with a few minutes of wiggling it around it finally fell into place. No alignment issues at all.

take the bumper cover off, it easy and you can make sure everthing is instaled correctly.

LT1s are a different fit, but agreed if I take the bumper cover off I might be able to mod it to fit, a winter project.
