Nitrous is safe you just really need to ensure you employ good failsafes and don't get greedy on the tune.

I will very likely be going nitrous with E85 after I max out the bolt on path. Yes the fuel system will need some attention but if I am successful it will make for a great weather immune setup

Quick answer is yes. You'll need a tune and it will show up on the flash counter when scanned.

I would deff agree if you have e-85 available its Best bang. You will get 30-40 HP, Just add full exhaust w/long tubes, and intake. it will be a big difference! I think with us being able to benefit from e-85 we will deff see N/A cars hitting 500 hp or more possibly.

Long tubes and full exhaust are nowhere near being best bang for buck - long tubes are like $2000 for less than 20hp and a full exhaust is around the same price for another maybe 5hp.

Even a Cai is borderline, if a $60 drop in filter gets 5hp and a $400 cai gets less than 10.

What about those of us who don't have e85 around us. Closest station to me is 60 miles away. Ported IM/TB + tune?

I got kooks coated longtubes with off road connection pipes for 980 shipped. Install myself. And I'm doing the e85 kit

E85 tune best gain for money. Bout a grand after tuning bigger gains than LTs

For track days you may want to consider getting a 55 gallon drum and filling it up.

If you are looking for 24/7 gains the I would have to say ported IM/TB and Rotofab with a tune are the next best options. Rotofab becomes more significant as the mod list increases.

Thank you,
Tim

You can remote tune through a professinal tuner, dont do it yourself, i tried to learned and gave up after 10 minutes.

Camarosaab,

Please let me know if you are interested in doing a remote tune. It is a process that works very well for bolt on level modifications and will result in a more comprehensive tune than just doing WOT pulls on a dyno. It will require you to own (or borrow) HP Tuners.

Thank you,
Tim
