It's quite poignant how Louis Chevrolet kept true to his dreams and personality, but this cost him his stake and eventually his fortunes. Many choose the alternative path today, but they will never be remembered as a legend that Mr. Chevrolet was.

A recent thread discussed why do you mod your ZL1? This story about Louis Chevrolet and others like Carroll Shelby just to name a few reveals how performance cars get into your blood. Pioneers like this always challenged the bar. In many ways you see this in every guys garage, spending time with the car that is a big part of their life. Can't get enough wheel time.
