Edlebrock Eforce supercharger and STB

I want to put an Edlebrock Eforce supercharger on my convertible which of course has a strut tower brace. I called Edlebrock Tech support but they were useless. Anybody here have the Eforce and STB?

I don't have an Edlebrock SC but am wondering why you chose Edelbrock over the Maggie or Whipple? Seems those two have a huge following in the SC game with us Chevy folks.

EDFHOBBIES has an Edelbrock supercharger.

The other two being more popular doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the Edelbrock. I love my Maggie, but its competition is also great, and none of these products are perfect.

For me the Edelbrock is a much simpler install. No added fuel requirements, spark plugs etc. I want reliability and streetability. 600hp is easy on an LT1 at 7lb boost.

It is simple/easy, but (assuming you meant rwhp) rides the fringe of the LT1 fuel system, which is not doing you favors in the way of long term reliability. But, I'm neither a tuner nor an engine builder and will not interfere, it's your car and I'm sure you have a competent tuner working with you on making this build truly reliable.

Agree with Arpad as i'm neither a tuner/engine builder but from the numerous posts I have read on here and other places upgrading to an LT4 fuel system is highly recommended when installing a blower. Look forward to hearing how your install went if/when you decide. Good luck!

Back to the original question I don’t think any supercharger will fit with the OEM strut tower brace it doesn’t have much room for clearance

Ditch the STB and enjoy your blower.

For reference, I’ve owned both a SS and ZL1 vert. The Z doesn’t have brace… because of clearance. Not a big deal, you can live without the brace.
