If you had to make a choice between a final year (2024) 6th Gen or a brand new C8...

Which would you choose?

Doesn't matter which model. 1LE, SS, ZL1, Z06 C8, ect ect.. but you could only have one and not the other....

I'm a big fan of the Tremec 6 speed manual in my 2011 SS. If the C8 offered a manual it would be more appealing. It's a great car for sure but between the two I'm going Camaro.

Seeing that there won't be anything mechanically different for 2024, I'd get a C8. I've had a lot of Camaros over the years and I'd do the C8 Z06. If money were no object that is.

I just did choose and I chose a ZL1. Ive owned 1 C7 and 2 C6’s but I never did consider the C8. The C8 is a great driving car but for some reason I just dont care to own one.

I have the ZL1 and the C8 wasn't and still isn't on my radar. If I was buying an addition it would be something on the order of this.

It was listed above

ZL1 over Stingray

C8 Z06 over ZL1

If money was no object or I win the Powerball I would have both!

After owning Corvettes for 20 plus years I sold a C5 Corvette to buy my 2017 SS I’m not ready to go back to a Corvette. I’m not really a big fan of the looks of the C8. If I was to get a Corvette I would buy a low mileage C7 Z06.

after careful review. and even asking random dealerships. the ZL1 is the top pick for performance, price, and creature comforts and I couldn't agree more. for this gen ZL1 OR ZLE all the way.

I would stick with the Camaro 2SS. All though unless they made the 2024 in Hyperblue I would not get a new one.

The Chevy Malibu is a better looking car than the C8. And I say this as someone who bought 5 new Vettes in the last 10 years. A C6 GS, C7 Z51 and 3 C7 GSs. All manuals.

Not a cheap shot at the Corvette engineers as the C8 is without doubt a high performance car, but is ugly as FFFF
