Dumb Question
Had a dealer tell me last week that only GM can provide an extended warranty on a new ZL1. Is this true?

The statement is half correct. A GMEPP is backed by GM and is servicable directly by anyGM dealership. It can only be sold by a GM dealer. You do not need and shouldn't usually buy from your local dealer unless they can provide you a good discount. There are several threads on the topic. Dennis Fichtner was a goto but I believe he is no longer with Laurel Chevy and they are no longer selling contracts.
I purchased mine from https://www.knappvehicleservicecontracts.com which is part of Knapp Chevy in MI. It was discounted under Denny's quote by +$100. Sent from my SM-F936U using Tapatalk |
