Radio upgraded since 2017?
Howdy folks. Curious if the radio has been updated since the '17 model.
I remember them not having an amp and all sorts of arguments about where it is and isn't. Search function didn't seem to work so well on this one. Thank you folks! |

The infotainment hardware and software were both updated in 2019, the new platform has HD radio and (since 2021) wireless Android Auto/Carplay, for example. As to the amp and speakers, I haven't seen any evidence of updates.

1LE is different with regard to the amp (or lack of) not sure of the differences but my 2021 SS 1LE sounds 10X better than my 2016 SS. Both are Bose systems.
