Roto-Fab - Velocity stack

Looks like Pray is still finding power. I’d really like to grab one and pair it with the Velossa. Swap it in at that track with an updated tune. This may be good for 1-2 MPH on my NA setup.

“We recieved another shipment of our Pray Performance Roto-fab Bell Mouths in. We got ten in and eight are already sold. We will place another order in a day or two if we get more requests. They are $150+shipping.

On my personal ZL1 we saw a 31rw gain in back to back testing. They work on N/A cars as well but the gains obviously won't be as high. We highly suggest you pair this product with the Velossa Tech Ram Air device we sell.

We recommend you only use these in racing applications as there will be nothing filtering the air entering the engine.“

I think you'll see the most gain on PD blower setups. Don't think it will make anything close to that on NA, but still may see some power gains but not 31 rwhp

Mine gets here Wednesday . I don’t know about 2mph increase in the 1/4. That’s wishful thinking on an N/A application. Maybe 1mph if that in my opinion.

No way to see 31 rwhp on NA that’s a given. I’ve always been willing to give ideas like this a try.

I’ll take the “1mph here and 1mph there“ any day. That’s what makes it fun. Try new things and see what does and doesn’t work.

i think catering to that age old cone on a stick rotofab design is a waste of time. go over the radiator and stop wasting money on stuff returning $100/hp.

bell mouth has been around. i've seen it on some na cars the past couple of years. granted they are no maf race cars with hi rams and no other induction.

Not a bad point, not really going to help with lower hp mods. Just do a Roto Fab and be done with it.

Yeah they’ve been around for a long time. Maybe I’ll just make one like this or 3D print one so it’s only $30/hp. I still have the program saved for the aluminum one so I’d just have to change bore and maybe OD.

The 31whp gain was on a car making over 900whp. You also need a 103mm TB to maximize the gains.

Brett also said he seen a 1.5 tenth reduction and 1.5mph gain at the track on a 600whp NA combo. He didn't say if that was using a Rotofab or OTR setup.

I would say it’s safe to assume a rotofab on the na.

If it gets me 0.5 mph it’s worth it to me.

it's also fair to note that the velocity stack replaces the air filter. i mean, i'm all about performance, but that's where i draw the line on a street car haha. also i imagine it would require a dedicated tune to compensate for the maf signal. i don't see swapping the vc at the track on an otherwise stock/bolt on car going well at all.

Yes that was on his Zl1.

Yes you have to tune for the airflow change. You could tune for the Bellmouth and leave it as is even if you swap back to the filter. It's just going to run a tad rich in PE. Not enough to cost much power or hurt anything....especially NA setups.
