exactly 6500 rpm...if you use the paddles be sure to be ready to shift as you will hit the rev limiter

And if it hits it in M, it'll fall on it's face... If you are running someone, stick it in D and let the computers win the race for you...

So I was running data logs today. Put the car in manual 4th gear and went WOT from 2000-6600 and it shifted into 5th and kept pulling. I was trying to see if I can get the rpm up to about 6800 but it shifted on its own in manual right at 6600.

Wonder if that is a 10L90 thing in the ZL1, I was running down an onramp in my 2020 2SS (10L80) and was in Manual and was a little late on the shift from 1 to 2 and it fell on it's face...

My 2018 Zl1 A10 falls on its face and won't upshift by itself. I gave up on trying to hit perfect shifts using the paddles as the lower gears are so fast you pretty much have to short shift or you end up at rev limit/fuel shut off.

This cars shift at MPH, I think RPM has only a slight impact on it. This topic has been spoke on before.
But I could be wrong, I just know we have spoken on this, I can also post up picks of the rpm files as well.

I’d like to tune my A10 to have more aggressive shifts, for non WOT driving....Perhaps in sport mode or track mode. As an example....I had a GTI that I could flip into sport mode and it would hold each gear much longer, as well it would downshift much more aggressively on deceleration. I really liked the feel and it worked well, even under light throttle. Albeit, the GTI wasn’t exactly a power house, but it was entertaining for city driving.
Would it be relatively easy for me to do the above to my 19 Z? I imagine it would really liven up my driving experience. Sorry for the ignorance on my part....I have zero experience with tuning. |

Is this pattern B?
Hi Ron,
Is this pattern B? I have had my ZL1's trans tuned after major engine upgrades and the track mode is not operating as it did with the stock tune. Wondering if these are you shift points for pattern B, which is track mode. Thanks, Kevin

The A10 will not allow for an over-rev correct? Such as shifting to a much lower gear.
