Added a Kong 2650 to my ZL1

I just added a Kong 2650 to my ZL1 and had it tuned by Jannetty. Before I had
the stock 1900 with Ted's 125 package plus dsx flex fuel sensor, aux pump and 9.55 (23%) pulley. I had about 13-14 psi. I ran 10.8s at 131. After the adding the 2650, I went to a 3.5 upper (stock is 3) and went to a dsx 9.06 lower. A lot less pulley than on the 1900. I hit almost 17 psi with the 2650. It has been really hot in Iowa. With cooler weather I might be higher than 17. I have not been back to the track yet.

Well, that's the test isn't it? All else the same (sans slight change in pulleys): how much better do you do in the 1/4? I'll stay tuned.

What was your horsepower before with the 1900 and after with the Kong 2650? You can sell a lot of these for Kong if it is a performer, being that you have apples to apples comparison.

Unfortunately I haven't dynoed my car. It has been remotely
tuned, so I don't have dyno results.

I thought the main advantage with the Kong was to spin the blower slower without as much heat with similar boost levels.

With the pulley change I made, I effectively went from a 23% overdrive
on the 1900, to a 5% on the 2650. And gained 3-4 psi.

The 3.5 upper pulley spins the supercharger slower than the stock 3.0.
