Solar throttle body negative timing at idle

Installed a soler 95mm throttle body and had the car retuned. Car now is -5degrees of timing at idle and pulls timing at partial throttle every so often. Anybody else have this problem? Mods are 1 7/8 headers. Msd intake. Rotofab. Flex fuel.

The tuner didn't address the idle area for a 95mm Throttle Body. 95mm TB's have to be tuned properly so that you don't get negative timing at idle.

I have this issue myself (pulls timing at gear changes, is really bad using RevMatch) - car is equipped with a Solar 87mm TB

Missile, the 87mm (91mm) shouldn't need a tune or do that at all. Please email us or call and let's get that taken care of. This is why you have a 1-year warranty.

Left message this morning - have done multiple re-learns over the last year with no change.

I was having similar problems with just the 87 MM throttle body. The PCM would be going into torque limiting mode because it was seeing values above certain set limits. There are four tables/values that need to be modified to compensate for this behavior. Car is N/A-values for forced induction will be higher, other than in the tables that we maxed out. I have included screen shots:

Thanks NA18 - I am setup on HPT, so I will try to convert your info over

I did a relearn and now only have the problem with rev match on. Car is idling anywhere between 4 degrees and -2 degrees of timing.

Yea I did a "TB Clean" reset in HPT and it seems much better without RevMatch but its still there with the RM on

What I am seeing is that the timing is vey low, 0 -7 degrees when the car is rolling, clutch in, no throttle

Let me know if you make any head way. My car is currently in the body shop and to be honest my tuner doesn’t seem to be interested in going any further. Currently talking to Ryan at gpi to see what can be done when I get my car back. I’d mess around with hptuners but don’t trust myself.

I am going to try and change a little at a time and see if it responds
