Suspension Lowering Springs - 2020 input

I’m going to be proactive and ask for advice. For anyone that has changed springs, can you tell me how you feel about your choice after the fact? I’d also like to know the manufacturer you selected and why you selected them? Thanks!

I've had my Phastek for almost 4 years and they've been awesome. Dropped it 1.5 and sits perfect and didn't affect my drag racing a bit with best 60 ft of 1.35 and keeps the car nice and low on the big end with 149 trap speed.

Thank you for your input. Did you purchase these springs from Phastek?

You know krops, I’ve read many posts in which you recommended yyz. Since I wasn’t in the market until now, I never researched that product.

Were you one of the 3 people they mention for testing?

The article they posted was informative enough that it makes sense why you like these springs. Since these are dual rate versus linear the ride quality must be fantastic.

Since I have MRC it was good to see they focused on more than one model car.

Also, did you get the 1” drop on all 4 corners?

I’m planning on doing the YYZ springs as well. Progressive rate seems to make a ton of sense IMO.

quick relatable question. i have 1" inch lowering springs all around. i feel like when im reversing the front rubs a bit. i have a 285/35/20 tire upfront. would going 285/30/20 help stop the rubbing?

On my 2019 I got the lowering package from the factory. It drops it 3/4-7/8" and I don't have any problems with the tires rubbing and the ride is great. It was completed by the dealer who switched the springs and struts/shocks. Not exactly the answer you were looking for but may give you some insight.

yes i was one of the first cars to have them and also a test car i have also since added his new shock package he is working on

i dont have mrc so my drop was 1" but mrc equipped cars would be around 3/4" or so but the ride quality and handling is amazing

I have a 2020 LT1 and I just put a set of BMR springs on it. Dropped it about an inch. Looks so much better. Bought them from Phastek. Installation wasn't bad either. Wheels aren't wide at the moment so no rubbing issues for me.
