Unless your planning on four digit wheel power numbers there is really no point in the LSX. There are a ton of LS3's stock making the power your aiming for. You can forge some internals on an LS3 and your still good for 1000whp, providing you have assembled the right parts. I have seen a bunch of people lately wanting to go to an LSX engine and have power goals that are under 1000. IMO that's just a waste of money. A good engine builder will stand by their product should you have any issues once its installed and running.

I know your reasons, but ADM would have stood by their built LS3. maybe not after 20k miles, but lets be realistic here. All the engine builders I spoke with, while they didn't offer a "Warranty", they did tell me if I purchased a motor from them, and it had a failure related to their workmanship, they would stand by it. Those people all have reputations to uphold. ADM I would imagine is no different. They build a ton of engines. Ask them how many of their built LS3's have failed...

Well mostly due to budget. I hadn't had time to save anything back up after the blower. He made me a good deal for a nice forged stroker with my core as a swap. But, I didn't care for that much power. I'd be pushing the fuel system. Yada yada. So the Lsx was actually my "cheapest" fix. $5,600 for the b8 is a pretty damn good deal. Cheaper than most ls3 long blocks m |

I did the LSX swap because I wanted to keep the stock LS3 stock. It is sitting on an engine stand in my garage. Was it the cheapest way to go? No. But I still have my stock engine.

I'm also in Iowa and I sent my car to ADM a month and a half ago, only costing me $600 to get it there inside an enclosed trailer. Ask Andy to set it up for you. Although he is extremely busy with my car right now I'm sure he'll find the time to help you out. Sorry Andy, I had to throw that in there. Lol

That name sounds very familiar. I'm terrible with names. Lol. Mine is pretty much the only one in town with this much done. Several ZL1's though.
