Wow nice weight reduction, so that is the weight with no driver right? My C7 with me weighs 3395 and 1/4 tank. I remember weighing my SS at just about what your Published curb weight was. Nice pass also

I want to commend you for your honesty about the torque converter. Some of the guys have a race-car-with-a-license-plate mentality and call some of their stuff daily driver that really is not that suitable.

As far as the weight, for reference, I actually weighed my stock 1SS auto back in the day when it was low on fuel (about 1/8 tank like yours) and it read 3623 on the track scale, that was just the car with nobody in it. Curb weights are typically quoted with full tank AFAIK, which explains the difference.

my 18 1LE weighed exactly 100 lbs more than your car when it was stock. kind of disappointing to know that a 4 corner racestar setup 18x5 & 17x9.5) only weighs 56 lb less than a factory 1LE wheel/tire. i am using 26" mt radials - 18x6 & 275/40. car did pick up 2+ mph in the 1/8 via dragy tho. i think mainly due to traction and gearing.

Did you check it with a low fuel load like mine was checked with? Because with a 19 gallon tank, there is some leeway depending on your fill, with gas weighing roughly 6.2 lb/gallon. The SS/1LE does have larger front brakes than a base SS, and the eLSD apparently is heavier than the differential in a base SS as well. So it's expected to weigh more than a base SS.

Thanks wnta1SS. Excellent points. The weight reduction makes more sense by comparison with a full tank of gas. The actual weight difference for what I have removed is closer to 300 lbs. It's hard to keep track of (weighing parts before and after). But, with 10 gal. of gas weighing 65 lbs. +/-, 300 lbs. total weight reduction makes more sense. I'm still happy with that and it represents a lot of work and wasn't cheap. As best I can tell, that effort has netted 2 to 2.5 tenths in the 1/4 mile. Recently reduced the rotational weight by 45 lbs. (Racestar/Micky to Bogart/Hoosier) and only have two passes on that setup (10.75 in 1700 DA & 10.71 in 1400 DA). Convinced there is a 10.6x in it with good air. In Texas, will have to wait until November to find out.

This IS my race-car with a license plate. I don't drive it on the street, although could easily by swapping to stock wheels/tires, re-installing sway bars and changing transmission tune. It would be nice if there were a rule book that defined "legal bolt-on", but there isn't. With the street/grudge racing going on today, it appears to be whatever you can claim and get away with, I guess. Until recently, never heard of "undetectable cam" or "hidden E-85 sensor". That's not my bag. Just "pan and valve covers never been off", licensed & inspected, me and the car vs. the track and the clock.

If you are already on the list, please don't post time slips if they are slower than your previous ones.

Not sure who you are referencing but since I have the last time slip posted, .... Yes, the last run posted is 4 one-thousandths of a second "slower" than what is on the list and it doesn't change the position on the list. However, it does improve the 60 ft. from a 1.5x to a 1.4x (to me, a big deal since that is what I have worked the hardest on) and the MPH from a 125x to a 126x. I would prefer the latest run data be updated on the list if you don't mind.
