Ive thought about that before but the wall of the garage is farther from my door than my wife’s car is. I.e I’m afraid I’d be hitting the other car with that long a— door.

I back in all the time. Otherwise, the driver door would be up against cabinets and I couldn't get out. I use a wheel chock to tell me when to park in the exact same spot every time. I have a tape mark on the floor in case I need to pick up the wheel chock and move it for some reason. The tape mark allows me to put the wheel chock back in the same place.

My garage is a similar setup and I park on right side. I just put the car where I want it and lined up the pass mirror with my eyesight and transferred a mark on the wall that I use the mirror to gauge to when pulling in.

Aragorn, you need a bigger garage. That will be a requirement in your next house, big wide garage. Mines a 2 car but its 24 feet wide and 24 feet deep. I don't park my Camaro in that garage, I have a 40x40 shop with drive on lift. Best thing I ever purchased.

You never have to worry about hitting your doors. I even back it on my lift.

This right here.

The first, and last time I tried to go nose in to our 2 car with cabinets on each side I stopped, asked myself what the hell I was thinking with such a big car and immediately backed in. Hung a tennis ball at backup camera height that I tap with my rear bumper so I know I'm all the way in too just to be safe.

If I could get my car to go 100% straight in I would probably park nose first, but the other condos across form us are too close to achieve that angle, so I go in crooked and spin the wheel to straighten out.

Never had such a hard time parking a car until I got the Camaro

Then tennis ball works great. My wife still has hers hanging even though she backs in most of the time.

I use one of these laser lights for my Camaro and the wife's Durango. they plug right into the opener outlet and mount on the ceiling. You pick a spot on the dash to align it to 1x and never have to worry again. They are motion activated.

That would work great inside an enclosed trailer if your loading by yourself. Good find

This is what I use, works awesome.

I back up to but I am always concerned I am going to clip the lawnmower on my passenger side. I have yet to get used to how far over I need to be using the backup camera. I just hunch over into the passenger seat so I can see my flanks. Its a damn pain and I need to figure out a way to better judge that sideways alignment in the garage. OR if someone wants to buy my H/C/I LS1 Camaro I can just get my garage space back lol.
