PTM menu

Little help here please
So I put the car in track mode and tap the traction button twice and go in competitive mode the PTM menu will quickly pop up on the DIC and then disappear. Am i doing something wrong or is mine broken? what is the trick to getting it to stay on in a M6 so i can select from the different modes?
Thanks

Yea, it is a PITA. I still haven't figured out the trick. I have to play with it all the time to get it to stay on. I have gone at different speeds with the two clicks and still have difficulty getting it to stay on. I am sure someone will chime in with the magic elixir!

ok at least its not just me. i keep double clicking the traction control button turning it from off and back into competitive mode but have only got it to stay on maybe twice. so i guess we both are at a loss for the right way to do it.lol

Same here. Sometimes it stays on and sometimes it doesn’t.

Don't push the traction control button anymore after you've entered PTM mode. Use the "mode" button up or down and the PTM mode will instantly appear and you can see what PTM mode you're in and what mode you go to. If you see both the Stabilitrak light and the traction control light illuminated on the dash you know you are in PTM mode.

Comp. Mode is available in Sport Mode. The PTM modes are accessed via Track Mode

the reason why the PTM mode does not remain on the screen is because the screen provides other information for track use and you don't need to be staring at what mode you're in the entire time on track. A quick press of the mode button and the screen pops up overriding any other information present for a split second.

Sounds like people aren’t understanding the issue here. The issue he has (and the issue I had) is that we select Track Mode, then press Traction Control Twice. That SHOULD bring up the PTM menu.

SOMETIMES IT DOESNT. It only flashes to the PTM screen for a split second and it disappears. No one is trying to drive around the track with it on. We are simply trying to get into the menu in order to select which mode we want (Wet Dry Sport 1, etc)

We know how it is supposed to work. It isn’t working correctly. Hope this helps LOL

Chevy made something easy very hard. All we needed was 2 memory buttons with pre selected settings. That’s what not happened.

I've noticed don't double click too fast or it may not go into ptm.
