Car still has a lien on it in TX. Its been washed through 2 other states so the title is good but lien is there under the VIN. So, this car could potentially be repossessed by a new buyer, for the old loan.

When the ECU has been modified the powertrain warranty is done. Doesn’t matter how much or how many miles. It’s gone.
