glamcem's Track Build Riverside Blue 1LE (new car)
UPDATE: After a careful consideration I decided to go back to my beloved SS 1LE. I have been tracking with my highly modified 2017 Mazda Miata for the last couple of years. Then I noticed that I barely use the Miata, towing truck and the trailer (since I work from home most of the time) and so I wanted to go back to Camaro so that I can fit 4 people and drive to and back from tracks. I traded in the truck and will soon sell the Miata . Towing will not be an option for a couple years until I receive the Cybertruck that I ordered
I was torn between the ZLE and SS 1LE and finally I settled on SS as I wanted to keep the car in NA form and consumables in check and reach my target weight (below 3500lbs). Also that way, I can finish what started with the 1LE. I am planning some weight reduction, suspension mods, harness bar and race seat and possibly upgrade to ZL1 1LE suspension with all the supporting mods. I already ordered and received some parts for the new car and will list everything in my journal. I will update my mod list for the current car but will also keep the previous information as a reference. How/what will you be using the Akron Headrest extendable mount for tablets (GoPro) for?

Awesome build so far, have been looking into/ acquired many of the same components for my virtually identical car. Just curious about the remote clutch bleeder as I am not familiar.... what exactly are the benifits, is it necessary to bleed clutch fluid that often?
Thx for any info, much appreciated. |

Worst case scenario, I will use the suction cup mount and attach the go PRO to another position. Since my car came with PDR, I will only use the Go PRo as a second angle to see how the way I drive for further analysis.

If the car is gonna see some track days during the summer, it makes sense to change the clutch fluid to avoid any sort of contamination in the fluid. After a certain amount of time (when car sees high operating temps in track environment) all the fluids should be changed for just a piece of mind. I know some will say the turkey baster method should do same (it should for mostly street use I believe) but I would still like to able to completely change the fluid at least a year (before or after each season). Since it's very hard to reach the plug on top of the transmission, bleeder simply extends that with a line so that you can change easily from under the car. I hope that helps

Darker rear tails and third break light look awesome, might think about doing the same to the SS logo.

Thanks, I think darker tail lamps a bit more necessary on a blue or a gree car as it doesn't blend/flow with the car as opposed to other colors such as red(dough), white, black, gray..etc. If I had a dark grey or black, I wouldn't touch it I think. I was thinking to remove the SS badges entirely but haven't decided on that yet
