2018 ZL1 Camaro with 325/30/20

So after a very long time I was able to fit a 325/30/20in the rear of my ZL1.
Long story but I’ll try to keep it short.

I ordered the BC Forged KL13 rims 20x10 (+20 OS) and 20x11.5 (+41 OS) in May, received them in late June. The OS for the rears were incorrect at +50 and pushing too far inboard. It didn’t matter how much I massaged the inner liner it was rubbing. After some discussion with the dealer and manufacturer the wheels were sent back and replaced with the correct size. Obviously this took a lot longer than expected but ultimately it was made right.

On the tires I went with 295/30/20 MPS4s and the rears 325/30/20 R888Rs.

So far no rubbing and the car looks amazing! Grip is outstanding as well.

If I had to do it again I would change the OS of the rear wheels to +43 so that there is no pole. I actually like the poke but some may not. Mind you this is with a 20x11.5 rim. You do not need to go this width for the 325 and could stay with the 11” width. I chose the 11.5” width more for astetics.

Over all I am very pleased! I hope I up loaded the pics right. Lol

Car looks great......
Explain a little more about the 11.5 rear for astetics, are you talking how the tire looks on that size wheel?

Yep, I went with the 11.5 to give the tire more room on the rim without having to bulge. I would have just stayed with the 11” but got a great deal and couldn’t pass up for what I was looking for.

Fuel line?

I thought anything above 305 in the rear would rub the fuel line. Is this not true or did you have to relocate at all?

In the pics, the rears tires do look bulged and wider than the rim. Not so apparent in person? Those are one of the rims I'm considering and they look good. Other than the initial (major pita) problems, sounds like you're happy with them. Curious about the fuel line too.

I’m very happy with the end results. There really isn’t much bulg so it may just be the pic. I’m more than confident that the rim could take a 345 tire but that would have some bulg. The car couldn’t fit that tho from what I think.

You must relocate the wire harness on the drivers side. I also heated up the inner liner to push it in more. All this took about an hour and that is to take the liner off and then put it back on once done.

Ahhh

Right, wiring harness, I totally misremembered. Thanks for the info. Is your car standard height or lowered? I have the MRC with Eibach lowered about 1.1” and I’m wondering if I could get away with a similar setup. Congrats on the setup, bet you have monster grip now.

Can you give an update on how you feel about this combo after some miles now? R888R Noise, grip, wear, etc.?

I'm thinking about going with the same MPS4S/R888R combo.

Thanks!

No complaints at all. Id do it again in a heart beat. The tires are louder but does not bother me one bit. Grips amazing but only on dry ground. Would not use these tires on a daily.
I will be running this combo from now on.

Going with MPS4S 285/30/20's up front and R888R 315/30/20 in the back. I see you did the 325, but I'll play it safe for this set. Guys making more power than me are using the 315, so we'll see how it goes.
