Yeah, but it will be fun to try to match my 2SS M6 times. This car will be 60+ pounds lighter. That might even things out. The GM bog evens things out.

I have a pair of 17" Dragstars with 305 M/Ts left over from the ZL1 if I get bored. But no tow hook on the LT1. :( My LT1 is being built next week!

My "uncle" just verified 155 shutoff. Its a very polite notification in the cluster.
The most traumatising thing about the run was looking down to see why the fun stopped. There was no timer involved but from 45-155 is about the same as 0-60 in your wifes mommy-ute.
Thats what my uncle said any way.

No wonder GM added the limiter, this car comes with 245/40 all-season tires that most likely have a V speed rating (149 mph).

Ive done 140 in a WS6 and it aged me 10 years. A baby can nap at 155 in this.

Yep, the Camaro's chassis and suspension are awesome, as is the LT1, working together hide actual speed dangerously well, heh (as in, "hm, am I over 65 yet? oh s***, this is 105, man it sure feels like 65 in my <insert boring daily driver>...").

I wouldn't run those tires above their rated speed for more than a few seconds, but that's just me being cautious.
