It's cool that it works on the track, but I think probably 99% of SS's made will not see the track, and the spoiler is ugly. It would be great if they could get the numbers they want in a more attractive package, but I too will go w/ spoiler delete or swap to a lip spoiler. That Honda spoiler on the SS just doesn't work for the aesthetics of the car or for me personally. Another vote for spoiler delete or another spoiler option.

I would say some people with an LT and no spoiler would be willing to swap deck lids with those that want a delete option.

He was very thorough and was more than happy to answer all questions fired at him during his explanation of all the work that had gone into the development of that spoiler. The bottom line for the team was that since the SS has such high performance track capabilities, it was deemed necessary to incorporate extra down force at the rear wheels to help stabilize the car at track speeds with the end result being improved handling under track conditions. Way t'go Chevrolet!!

The SS spoiler certainly has a "raison d'etre" with its design as opposed to it being simply an eye candy styling exercise.

99% or more of v-8 Camaros will never see the track or be put to such limits as the wing spoiler will save them. Looks like dated carp to me. So how about a track version for you trackers and something that looks nice for the cruisers. Or at least a delete. Even the stang has a delete.

why not get a I4 or V6 if you are never going to push to the limit your V8, I see that a lot of people want more HP but they never talk about the aerodynamics of the car. power without control is nothing.

I want the exact same spoiler option as I have now!

My 13 year old son is a Bumblebee fan....The Writing on the spoiler is CAMARO SS....in letters from both Transformer alphabets.

For me, its purely about the sound of a V8 that makes me want one. Even if the V8 had the same output as the V6, it would still be my choice.

How can you tell? That's one of those renderings that they don't want you to see what they rendered. Besides, the spoiler they used is there for function and makes the car perform better. That means more to me than the looks of it.

I had a evo with a spoiler that was ricer and ugly. Got rid of the spoiler for a light weight carbon trunk panel replacement lip type spoiler. I'm hoping the SS spoiler looks good but if it doesn't I'm sure the aftermarket will have options.
