Keep in mind that track is over seven minutes long so shaving less than 1 second per minute in dry conditions is hardly fishy. Most tracks are 1:30-3:30 minute long tracks in which case 6 seconds seems like a lot.

Does it matter? If they are selling plenty of cars that are comfortable to drive every day, why can't they sell a track model or two that is low volume? I drive my 1LE everyday and I would buy another car if they build a new 1LE.

I hope Chevy stays the course and brings back a similar 6th gen Z/28 that the average consumer cannot live with as a daily driver but is a dedicated no compromise track devil that few can obtain but many aspire to have.

Natural aspirated high revving V8 like the original and also the 5th gen car is what we want that will lay waste to anything in its class including some GT3 production street cars.

I drive my car daily but I still would love to add a Z/28 for tracking and corner carving at its purist level.

It seems quite a few of them are having heat soak issues with coolant temps hitting 240 or so.
