Hello Everyone~!

Just wanted to say HI.

My current DD (10 CTS4 Wagon) is getting ready to be replaced, and I wanted to go with ATS-V.
Never been a Camaro fan until 5th gen ZL1 came along, then 1LE. (Although I love the Z28, I can't see myself paying that kind of money for Camaro. No disrespect intended.)

I've seen 6th gen Camaro mules quite a few times (all with camo) at Milford proving ground, and didn't really think I would consider the Camaro for myself, until the reveal at Belle Isle.

Long story short, I am seriously considering SS as my next DD.

If I go to Cadillac forum and say I am cross-shopping ATS-V vs. Camaro SS, they'll think I'm nuts, but it makes good sense to me.

Both cars on Alpha platform, which I love.
Both have 4 seats, even though backseats would be more useful in ATS form.
Both cars have 6 spd MT, Brembo brakes and MRC, and both capable of a few track days a year and still provide decent daily driving.
Interior would be somewhat nicer in ATS-V, but I'm not huge fan of current CUE and button-less design of Caddy anyway.
I save 20K and get V8 (LT1!!!) instead of TT V6. (similar HP stock - I'm not going to modify it until warranty is done)

To be honest, I still like ATS-V little more, and if they are same price, I'll definitely go with Caddy. However, considering the facts mentioned above, I may save myself $20,000 and go with Camaro.
(considering white or dark grey, with red accent interior - don't know the official names of Camaro colors yet)

I'll come to this forum more often to get myself educated.
Thank you.

Thanks! I saw those colors somewhere in this forum, but don't remember all the names. I gotta go study it again.

I think white will look nice with contrasting black grille and red SS badge.

I would love the metallic black, but as we all know, black cars get dirty the moment you start driving after wash, so I don't think I'm going with black, so next best thing for me would be grey.

I see you've been through quite a few Camaro and Vettes, and you live in area where these cars can be appreciated throughout the whole year.

Yessir. I am quite fortunate, in that sense. But lately weve needed a BOAT more than a car! Lol
