Took these blocking pieces off the grille. They almost entirely covered my auxiliary radiators and brake air ducts.

I also took a piece off the side of the headlight. Now more air for the intake tunnel.

Makes you wonder why GM put them on. Must be a reason.

The Verts don’t have those aux coolers so those areas are blocked off in the lower grill. I’m assuming yours isn’t a convertible since you have those coolers. Was your lower grill replaced at some point?

Got my C7 Carbon wing delivered on Thursday and did the install on Saturday. The wing is their latest "1LE Spec" design, to be honest I have installed two of their prior generation wings (one on my prior 2SS 1LE and another on my buddies) and the shape looks the same, one piece design, may be the angle of attack my be different hard to tell with out a side by side comparison that IU can measure. The height for sure is different... The prior one was taller.

The install was rather straight forward no drama it all lined up. The center stand bolt which is rather long and sits back or forward depending on how you look at it is a little challenging but not crazy hard.

The quality of the carbon fiber is very nice I could not find any imperfections, the weave is even and the clear coat smooth with no dirt in it. The stands are gloss black not CF, which I like it makes the wing stand out more IMHO. One thing I would change from a manufacturing process is the seals I would opt for something a tad bit wider, I tested for leaks and there were none but they look squished.

To be honest I was on the fence about the whole CF wing thing, I dont have anything on my vehicle that is CF. Gloss black was what I was going to go with but in the last min I changed my mind since it was only an extra 100 bucks and I figured if I did not like it I could always sell it. See pics below.

Very nice, I love the Summit White ZL1's. The wing looks Great. The black accents just POP! Two minds think alike. Here is my ZL1.

Drove up to MA from TN on Saturday for surprise retirement party for my mother on Sunday. I haven't seen her for 3 years thanks to this COVID business, so I was a big part of the surprise. Fantastic day. Drove back yesterday.

On the way up, I found myself in the midst of the Ford Nationals in Carlisle PA with no backup, surrounded by Shelbys on I81 North. Oof.

Went on a Cicada killing spree with the car. Holy hell the shit I pressure washed out of the grille was nasty.

I bought a chip to turn off 1 to 4 shift. Where I live it's just not practical. Also only $15 so worth a shot.

I have a 1LE and I can't honestly I don't want or need to change anything. Except for Smudge the cat stickers. Need those. NEED.

Needless to say, the vast majority runs in the high 12s and low 13s, we aren't pros after all. Heck, my worst pass was some 13.0 or 13.1, with the supercharger
Maybe Atco has a better strip or they prep the track better and someone can pull off a better time. All that said, 11.5 for a supercharged 6th gen is way too restrictive.
I ran an 11.8 at 118 Drag radial only (MT Street SS) at Englishtown Raceway park in NJ before they closed the drag strip (or closed completely as far as I'm concerned). I felt it was pretty quick for that time especially since I beat a few stock and minor modded ZL1s that night and even a modded GT350 Shelby so felt pretty good about my tire only A8 SS

That was back when I was NA (in 2017) Been boosted since then 10s now
