Manual transmission fluid change

Hi all,
I'm planning to change the transmission fluid on my v6 2015 camaro. The manual says that the gear fluid should be 75W-90 GL-5. I saw some gear oil brands at Walmart, namely, Ultra1Plus SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5, and Valvoline High Performance SAE 75W-90 Gear Oil. Have you used these tran fluid before?

Thanks!

You'll be fine with either of them, gear oil is pretty uniform.

I personally used Mobil 1 in both the trans and the differential. I recommend doing both at the same time since its easy and it uses the same fluids. Just make sure you grab a bottle of diff lubricant too

Hi,

Do you know where the drain plug is? Is it the 24mm plug on the bottom or a 3/8 plug on the passenger side? The filler plug is on the driver side next to the sensor. I heard people said that the drain plug is on the passenger side but I can't find it. Thanks!
