Question for coupe drivers.

How many of your that drive a coupe would prefer if the small back windows also lowered and raised?

On convertible cars, the rear windows raise and lower.

The engineering is already done for the smaller side windows to be mobile.

It would have been a nice little detail, if we could have all side windows down like in the first generation camaro.

Just a random thought on a Friday.

I would prefer to have a small opening in either the rear glass or rear deck lid to eliminate the wind buffering noise and vibration.

I actually prefer my moon roof and windows down to a convertible. This is the first car I've ever had with a moon roof and I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do. But I also have the car parked in a garage when it rains so I don't have to worry about it ever leaking.

I prefer the coupe and like the reverse Mohawk design in the top!

Coupes always look cooler without a B-pillar, IMO. Mercedes did this for years with their E-class and S-class coupes. Would be a great look on the current Camaros.

It would add weight since the coupe needs to meet a different roof crush standard than the convertible (I think). Sort of the same reason t-tops went away, since the t-top cars are classified as "coupes".

Exactly. Convertibles don't have to meet the same standards. And glad someone remembered my lesson on t-tops

Yes, as stated, Mercedes has done it, but you need more structure to make it work without a conventional b-pillar.

And yes, OP, it would look better and significantly improve visibility. Just heavier and more expensive.

As a side, it might cost some body rigidity and degrade handling a bit.

I want an old school vent window that pops out at the back.

Ditto, less crap to break, leak, and weigh you down as well.

Same here, adds just that little extra to the look.

I would like it. Should have been designed that way.
