10.11 in bad DA

Keep making progress, new personal best 10.11, only got three runs for the day, two others 10.15 & 10.22 . DA ranging from 3,500 to 3,800. New personal best trap 136.92 mph and 60' 1.45. Boost maxing out at 11.8psi, timing at 17 degrees, E70 plus two meth nozzles. Still SBE. Only change from last June was going to 3.25" pulley from the 3.375" pulley, .30psi additional max boost but boost is building faster and probably adding .75psi accross the 1/4 pass. 10.11 pass slip did not print so the track hand wrote on for me.

10.11 pass is at the 13 minute mark of the video.

The fact that the stock 6 gen SS only ran 12.7 @ 109 really paints a clear picture on how bad the air is at your track. Your car would be 9.8's @ 140+ all day at one of the hero tracks.

Wasn't long ago I kept hearing all this BS about how Whipple's don't perform. You have stuffed a sock deep in those naysayers pie holes. Keep up the good work!!

People said it didnt perform?

The 2650’s dominate the 2.9’s and 2.3’s. Doesnt mean all 4 wont greatly exceed a SBE lol

Yea...it was back when only Laynlo and toohigh were the only ones posting track times. I believe Rob was in the low 11's right after installing the Whipple.

It's no biggie either way...just poking fun!!

Thanks guys.

I still want to get to a low DA track at some point, until then I will just try to keep getting faster at the local high DA track.

I think it is well proven at this point the maggie 2300, procharger and Whipple are all great options and capable of comparable track results.

Way to go Rob, love seeing you taking steps to go faster! You certainly will go high 9's at a better track! The right time of year is coming, make it happen man!

Yep, Rob is so close. I remember those times and thinking I'm not gonna run 9s. It happened finally this spring. I never want to go back to the 10s.

No doubt when I see that 9s timeslip its going to feel really good. Its a balancing act on stock internals trying to decided how much boost and timing I am will to throw at it. That last 1/10th is going to be tough unless I get to a better track.
