However they do it will cost $$$, there is no way around that. The ZL1 1LE is quite possibly the cheapest way to get that sort of performance, today.
Carbon brakes? $1000's Weight reduction? $1000's (look at Porsche) CF/Al body panels? $1000's LT5? $1000's Carbon Fiber wheels? $1000's Cost to counter the fact they'll only sell 10 of them? $1000's ...Yet it would be so fun to see. I'll say this much - I'd LOVE to see an Chevy Performance Parts come out with a "Nurburgring Killer" kit for the ZL1 / ZL1 1LE... 1) LT5 blower/manifold/ECU kit that brings over the bigger blower, and dual-injection system of the LT5 2) CC brakes 3) Bigger/Adjustable Aero If they did...I'd probably put money down on 1 & 2 before swapping out this car for anything. |
