How old a tire would you trust on track?

Friend sent me this from Tire Rack.

They have 2015 production SS 1LE/ZL1 GY F1 SC3 on sale for $725/set.

If they have been warehoused the whole time what say you on running them for HPDE?

Everyone who is ordering them are getting late 2016 production, like week 40 or higher.

So idk if that impacts your decision at all...

I just picked up a rear set and they were week 50 2016

yep mine are 4916 & 5116, send it! These are fine, TireRack stores them properly so they are practically BRAND NEW!

I bought a set of the '15s when they started running this deal. They're fine as others have said.
