Looking for Dive plane (canard) template

Does anyone have the template that shows where the holes need to be cut to install the dive planes on a non 1LE ZL1?

It would be awesome if someone can scan the image or maybe mail them out to me(i'll pay for the postage).

Thanks in advance

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's that simple. The OEM ZLE dive planes fit into the ZLE bumper and air vents by snapping into place. You won't have those area for them to snap into on yours

https://wildhammermotorsports.com/16...eneral-motors/

Most that have done this mod have replaced the front bumper with the ZL! front bumper which is slightly different

Corrected

The ZL1 and ZL1 1LE have identical bumpers. To fit the Dive planes you need the internal pieces which replace the DRL holders on the ZL1. So you lose your lower DRLs.
The Bumper needs two slots cutting for the upper clips of the dive planes - the lower clips go through pre-drilled slots in the inserts.
You will also need the retainers to secure the dive planes from the other side.
I'm afraid I can't help with the template, however on MY18 ZL1s (from July 17 I believe) the cut out for the dive planes is marked on the back of the Bumper.

Yea I have the bezels and clips and dive planes.. Just looking for the template to cut the slots.. I'm trying to do it without taking off the front fascia completely..

Hopefully someone else chimes in with the template.

What Model Year is your car? You'll have to take it off regardless to fit the new inserts

2017 ZL1.. I read somewhere it is possible to do it by turning the wheel all the way on each side and going thru the fender guards.

That's just for the top 2 clips of the dive plane. There are 6 total for each side.

Come on someone must have them laying around somewhere.

If not can someone point me to a "how to" for removing the front fascia? maybe on Youtube?

If you have a very late like oct or Nov build date in 17 you may have them inside the fascia.

Anderson's may have them or ACS

It's not difficult to pop the front fascia off. It's necessary to do the install the right way anyways.

Wow, that thing looks menacing! I actually like this look better than the full ZLE aero for a cleaner but still mean look. Nice job.

That looks absolutely amazing!!! Does anyone know if these would negatively affect 1/4 miles times?

Nope. I did this mod before I got an actual ZL1 1LE. Gotta remove the fascia unless you have rubber double jointed arms, wrists, and fingers.

I saw the template a while back in my storage room. I’ll take a look again this afternoon.

Think APR Performance has the canards, splitter and spoiler. Anyone looked into it?
