1388 miles trans leaking!

I got my 2ls in November and its only got 1388 miles on it. I found transmisssion oil leaking on the garage floor. Its going in to the dealer tomorrow.

I understand things happen but this is ridiculous.

Has anybody else had issues with their trans?

Thanks

That sucks big time. Wonder if it's a seal or cooling line? Let us know what you find out.

No help with the tranny, I'm still trying to wrap my head about driving 1388 miles since November. That's about 2 1/2 weeks for us.

That's a different paradigm for me. Heck, we've driven 100 miles round trip for dinner.

Wow, sorry to hear. I'm on my 2nd 2LS. No tranny fluid leaking issues on them. Other than the auto tranny's being really rough, jerky, and generally POS in ride and performance, heh! But no leaks. I'm from Chicago, and I know our shitty pot hole infested streets. (canyon ridden really) You might have banged your tranny pan onto something and pan gasket gave away. Where is it coming from, did you go down there?

baja216,

Sincere apologies to read of the transmission oil leak with your new Camaro. I can understand your displeasure, but it's great that you've sought assistance with your dealer. Feel free to keep us posted on the diagnosis, or contact me privately if additional assistance is needed .

No problem found! I guess I was imagining the trans fluid on my garage floor. I'll keep an eye out for any more leaks.

Now youve got me confused.

Did you imagine red fluid on your garage floor? Do you park multiple cars in the same place?
I just don't see how you think something is leaking if it isn't.
