My new 2SS 2016 Vert
I just picked this up Friday. I no longer own my 2014 C7 Z51. While I know there are obvious differences, I don't track it so this one makes more sense for me. Has the same basic engine pckg (less the dry sump), handling package (mag ride shocks), NPP exhaust (better sound than in the Vette) and the newer 8spd Auto Tranny. So far I'm really loving her (Lucile). The Vette was Lola and so happy my last two cars were made in America for a change

I have a convertible! But not a Camaro convertible, lol. 7k is a lot for the option... But it's so fun to drive with the top down.

I just picked up a hyper-blue 1SS last week. It's a new 2016 model. Love it so far - logged 900 miles on it over the weekend, mostly highway - both with top up and down. Great ride, and good convertible experience! Coming from a 2008 BMW 328i vert, and long time vette and Camaro coupe owner - 4 of each in fact!

RS Hyper Blue Vert
I have the RS vert. No issues, just over 200 miles. Lots of top operation. I have sprayed the top mechanism, top rubber and window rubber with CRC silicone spray. It keeps the rubber soft and the mechanism working with no binds. Just use a towel to keep it off the top cloth material. I did the same on my 2004 Chevy SSR and the top and rubber was just like brand new when I sold it in 2012.

Quick question for my fellow vert owners - I didn't realize this at the time I bought my car, but Chevrolet.com lists "Visors, driver and front passenger vanity mirrors, covered, illuminated" as standard equipment. However, my car does not have the illuminated mirrors (I really don't care, but my wife wants them). Is there anyone else who doesn't have the illuminated vanity mirrors?

I have a 2SS vert with almost all the possible options but the vanity mirrors are neither covered nor illuminated
