Ambient Lighting Source From Traction Control?

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about adding ambient lighting to my 2014 2ls. I read a lot about grabbing the grey wire above the throttle pedal but it also looks like I could grab it off the traction control light on the center console.

Can anybody confirm this for me? and if so, which wire is it? I thought I read somewhere that the yellow one is it.

That's a lot closer to where I'll be installing the lights.

Thank You!

I have ABL in my 2SS but ive added a few other lights in the car and ive used the yellow wire off of the traction button. Works perfect. Everything comes on with the ABL like stock.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I'm planning on putting two led strips under the dash on both sides. I'm planning on running the wires under each side of the console trim to the traction control switch to grab that light. That should dim as the dome light does I hope?? (forgot to ask for that confirmation too)

Thanks

if your using the traction control wire it comes on when your night time lights would, when the sensor on your dash reads it's dark and stays on while those lights are on. if you want it to fade out with the dome light the wire under the driver side dash for the dome does that. it can be dimmed down with your switch that controls all the interior lighting though.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. Looks like I'm back to the grey wire under the dash by the accelerator pedal.
