Chevy chat actually emailed like they said they would! Still at 3400. Still tpw of 6/27.

I got my DL in the mid 80s and drove an 82 Z-28 (305 Crossfire) in high school. Absolutely loved being a witness to that 80s horsepower "war" first hand. Getting to see those 5.0s, 305/350 TPIs and those pesky Buicks go head to head on the weekends, especially Sunday afternoon was just really cool.

It's hard to trust the Chevy chat for TPW. I tried to get something out of them yesterday and they said my TPW was 6/15... which is obviously not a thing. So for best result I would check with the Order Status thread or your dealer.

The third gens are really fun cars both are 350 tpi’s. I was a little young back when that war was going on hence the ‘83’! But i woulda loved to see it. It was a battle then for the manufactures to create horsepower.
And JP my tpw was originally given to me by the dealer chevy chat just backed it up. The dealer said they’d update me Tuesday but never did not surprised though. And still hasn't.

For better info using Chevy Chat, type "Live Agent" after you type "Hi" give him/her your order number. They will give you an accurate update, then request that they give you an update via email. That's what I did and every week I get an email on where my car is in the production process. I have a TPW of 7/11 for my 1SS 1LE.

Yeah I was speaking with a live agent at the time. When they gave me a date of 6/15 I gave up and bugged my dealer instead. Also have a TPW of 7/11 for my 2SS 1LE! Fingers crossed!

Mine is on the assembly line and scheduled to complete at 10:45 AM this morning. Hopefully they will be fast with wrapping the hood and shipping.
