New Camaro colors for 2023?

I was looking at the Corvette colors after helping another forum member decide on their new Camaro purchase, and the colors available on the Corvette do seem pretty much like what the 2023 Camaro should offer. I see two different colors that appear to be direct replacements for WC and Satin Steel. Hypersonic Grey and Caffeine Metallic may be the new "flavors" of the Camaro. Will be curious to see how they translate to the Camaro body.

Hypersonic Gray definitely could see that but I don’t see GM not offering a Red Metallic Tintcoat on the Camaro as the Camaro has had a Metallic Red Tintcoat color available every year since 2010. I imagine Shadow Gray will be gone in 2023 as it has been replaced on the refreshed Silverado & Sierra truck pallette’s with Dark Ash Metallic. Too bad the Camaro cannot get Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic with even if with a different name, Hyper Blue 2.0 would be so nice.

Not another gray, hopefully... nothing wrong with the existing ones IMO.

Oh yeah, there's a 3rd red available for the Corvette that I don't think the Camaro will see. The two colors I figured were slated to be Camaro colors were the ones marked "new" that look similar to the discontinued colors (Grey and Wild Cherry). That Caffeine color, it might look good on base Camaros, but I don't see it having the pop that Wild Cherry has on the ZL1. I'm sure glad that I was able to get my 2022 WC.

If you go to the website, you can get a better look at it. I think my screen grab lost a little in the process. The Caffeine that's possibly replacing the WC, on the Corvette it almost looks like a cup of coffee (little more towards Garnet Red) hence the name. Definitely will be curious to see what it looks like once it's applied to a Camaro.

I'm not a fan either, especially if the paint is also matte, another recent trend.

You really lucked our bud, WC is such a great color on the ZL1. I am bummed I won't be able to get it, but hoping to see a great replacement for '23 and '24.

Man i m jealous. I ordered my car in Satin Steel, love the color but I thought it is little lighter than I expected. The Shadow Gray is too dark. That Hypersonic Grey seems the best color in between Satin Steel and Shadow Grey

It's funny because out of sheer boredom, I went to go look at cars yesterday and a factory "steel matte finish grey" caught my eye. I haven't really been too drawn to the Matte finish (might be the pudgy guy I saw getting out of a Lamborghini Urus at the gas station in the same color that did it) but for whatever reason this iteration of it caught my attention. The only thing is that I saw the care required for such a finish and I started thinking to myself that if my paint job isn't going to be shiny then why do I have to wash it like I'm trying to get it to shine? It's a good concept, but it should require less maintenance as you're not cleaning it to a shine.

Thanks, I actually learned my lesson when I bought my SS Sedan back in 2016. They were just wrapping up orders and so I had to "settle" for the colors and the transmissions that were available. If I had been thinking ahead, I would've picked up a "Regal Peacock Green" with an M6. Instead I had to "settle" on an A6 in "Some like it hot red", which isn't a bad color, just wasn't my first choice. The green is below, and looks better in person. It's also a relatively rare color.
