To honest, I'm just not excited about the car. I've had Harleys for a while, and I thought a performance car would keep me happy....but it doesn't. My wife wants to kill me, but I want a Harley again.

Thought the name looked familiar from HDforums. Good luck with the sale. Just bought a Camaro with the wife. It's hers, but I drive it more. Now I don't feel as bad for getting a 14 FLHXS.

As in "I can get a new one for $3k more". But then add taxes to $42,000...my car is basically new.

Don't know how they do it in your state, but if I buy a $42,000 car I have to pay 6% tax on it.

We do in Illinois too if you want to actually and legally register the car. But it's capped at $1500 for a used vehicle over $30K. Was going to go look at this car two months ago but it was made clear the price was relatively firm! So I bought a '13 1LE in Houston, flew to see it and shipped it back in a trailer.

Nice looking 1LE! That's my exact car, options and all, except it's a 2014.
