How did you get your PIN # for your RemoteLink?

The OnStar advisors keep telling me I need to call in from the car itself to be able to set up a PIN to track the car

Never mind. I got it. But my OnStar can't communicate with my car :-/

Went to the dealer yesterday and closed the deal so I could take advantage of the GM PO. Still no word on when my Camaro will be delivered. The wait is starting to get to me with warmer weather finally coming to Minnesota.

Another down-side of paying before delivery, no more status updates from Becky.

It took mine about 48 hours to get a location back from the car

So it seems the salesmanager at the dealership I ordered the car from, doesn't exactly know how to read the event history as it can be confusing. Took me a few minutes to figure it out because it's not in chronological order. I'll give him this, he's always been willing to go out of his way for me.

Anyway, he found out that my car got on a train on 4/30, and has an ETA to Annapolis, MD of 5/5 (Thursday). He said they have to allow up to 72hrs for it to get unloaded from the train. Then it should get picked up by a truck. I live around 90 miles from Annapolis.

Since I do not have OnStar tracking enabled, I called Chevy's 1-800 customer support number to check the status of my order. They said it is currently in Louisville, KY, and should be in the state by Monday. I assume it will probably take a couple of days by truck to make it to my dealer.

I never knew about the Chevroket Customer support number. I just called it, was waiting for about 15min, but eventually someone helped me. They said that my car is currently in Annapolis, MD, some paperwork has to be completed and then it will get on a truck to the dealer (which is around 90 miles away). They could not give me an ETA for this to happen. She was extremely friendly and helpful.

I guess you weren't on my train

And now my onstar went to sleep! Last I saw was an hour ago I was moving around the PA/MD border

I wonder if they started off on the same train but split off at one of the stops. If your's is around the MD/PA line then it shouldn't be too long. I know that there's a possibility that I could get mine tomorrow but I think that's optimistic. I'm hoping for Saturday or hopefully no later than Monday as a month ago I scheduled an appointment for the car to get tint done for Tuesday 5/10. I figured I'd have the car by then and this place stays booked like a month in advance.

Awesome! I am glad that you were able to take advantage of it to get more details.

When I called this morning, the friendly lady created a ticket and gave me a number for it. When I call back, i just give them the ticket number and they will know exactly what to do.

Additionally, your typo "Chevroket" is quite appropriate in regards to you buying a Camaro.
