Here is a cool little documentary of the first Camaro ever made. How it was made, publicized, sold to the public, raced, lost, rediscovered, and restored with most of the original parts that were installed.
Kinda interesting!

This car was at the 2016 Woodward Dream Cruise in a glass display. Pretty cool to see the first one.

My first car was the same color. A Granada Gold 1967 Camaro I bought in 1976 for $600 while in college. It was a 327 2bbl with powerglide, black interior with console. Of course with the obligatory time appropriate aftermarket wheels and air shocks and a staggered setup.
