Shock Camaro, what color calipers?
Brakes are currently stock SS dark gray. Looking to upgrade to 1LE fronts or ZL1 brakes all around. Depends what I can find used first. Anyways I don’t like the look of red brakes on the shock color. I think it looks terrible.
I’m thinking of either sticking with dark gray, black, maybe a dark silver… gold? Color match to shock is one option, but if the color isn’t a perfect match it’ll stand out and that’s tough to do with shock. Thoughts?

I'd say Shock or Black... Definitely not Gold...

Personally I'd just leave them stock.
Now, if you want it to stand out more, a color matched shock would look fine, and in fact a darker shade of shock could even enhance the appearance IMO. This is a different component, a perfect color match isn't the only way to make it look good. Emphatic no to red or orange or bumblebee yellow. though.

If you look at an exotic yellow car blk, yellow and red in that order. but not gun metal or silverish
